You are growing up on the beautiful island of Kauai, where many great World Champs in both bodyboarding and surfing make their home! Who is the most inspirational waterman from your island and why?
I think the boogie nation crew and all those guys. And Dave and Jeff too.
Have you been to Oahu and surfed the North Shore? Is surfing Pipe something you think about?
No, I haven't surfed it yet but I'm planning on going this winter on a good swell.
Who do you surf with in your home town?
My friends Trenton, Mana, Kainoa, and whoever is in the line up.
What are you goals this year in the sport of bodyboarding and how are you going to achieve them?
My goals are to get Pipeline and OTW on a mental swell and get some sick photos. Enter in the USBA and progress in the sport a lot.
Do you work out and train for bodyboarding? What do you do?
Yeah, I try to eat healthy and I workout and run when I'm not at the beach. I don't think its intense training, but I keep in shape.
What other sports do you play?
I play soccer every once and a while but I mostly bodyboard, surf, and sand slide. (its like skimming but on a bodyboard)
Have you ever surfed with Paul Cooper, Rex Moribe, Dave Hubbard or Jeff Hubbard?
Yeah, I have been out at the same time and talked to them, but that's about it.
