RXYM's Rusty Friesen and long time friend & new Turbo team rider, Andre Botha, hit up PIPE and Rocky Point the other day.
"Dude, weird moves were going down. I don't know what was up. I was doing 1993 Eppo airs, pop reverses, flat hand cutties and dolphin pull outs. We were all in this weird mood," added Friesen. "The waves have dropped but Rocky Point has been the call. Hubb and Skipp are here and we are all hanging out and surfing like 3 times a day."
As February approaches so does the Pipeline event presented by Turbo Bodyboards. Instead of being the final event of the IBA World Tour, this year they have decided to run it as the kick off. Careers and world title campaigns will either start solid or "not so much" as Borat would say.
The rest of the RXYM XRMY is set to meet up with Friesen in exactly 2 weeks. Big things are on the horizon. Stay tuned.
